Hi, I’m Alexa Burkley, the founder of Burkley Bookkeeping Solutions, LLC.

I’m a bookkeeper and former CPA with a Masters in Accounting – I love crunching numbers and analyzing financial reports. I’m also a mom of three chaotic little beings who are another of the main reasons I’m here subcontracting bookkeeping services.  Because I want to have the flexibility to be a present mother – to have control of my time so that I can give a little more of it to them.  

After graduating from University of Pittsburgh, I began my career in public accounting at a medium-sized CPA firm in downtown Pittsburgh. After several years of working with dozens of clients on financial audits, I decided to take an in-house accounting position at a small business in my local town. Over the span of 7 years, I found genuine fulfillment in using my expertise in financial analysis to help that small business grow.  Until I became a mom of three, realized my strength for multi-tasking and had the epiphany that I could break out of my 9-5 job to help more than one small business at a time.

Beyond desiring schedule flexibility for the sake of my kiddos and truly enjoying my work in accounting, I started Burkley Bookkeeping Solutions, LLC because I want to expand my reach and use my skills to empower more small business owners like you to achieve greater success.  As a former D1 athlete, I am no stranger to hard work and have always admired the gumption and grit of entrepreneurs. I see your courage to start your own business, to pave your own road – supporting your family and bettering your community.
